Taken at the last event in this series with special guest, long-time comedy writer Stephen Hibbert (you’ve FOR SURE laughed at his jokes.)
I’m playing my first vinyl set in years at this fantastic new event called Analog Salon, this very rad vinyl listening party celebrating music, storytelling, and community connection at the Posner Center for International Development in Denver, CO.
The centerpiece of this FREE, three-hour event is a live interview with Dana Meyers, prolific radio host and punk rock connoisseur with a professed weakness for peanut butter and wine. During this interview Dana will guide us through her life story as told by the music that shaped her life and the moments of which is made up.
I’m especially hyped for this because not only will I be touching vinyl, I’m also contributing to the overall analog direction by bringing my reconditioned JVC NIVICO speakers (paired with a bluetooth Onkyo stereo receiver) and producing some intriguing visual cues throughout the night. My first opportunity in a long time to contribute meaningfully and really bring the signature KOFA FM vibe.
Oh! And I’m also curating some incredible vendors experiences like a portrait booth, DIY zine station and my very own merch table. See you there! <3
